Claire, our tester, was impressed with the packaging. It was easy to open and clean. She found it to be among the easiest and fastest pieces of baby equipment to set up. She took it for a spin around some tough terrain and was extremely pleased with its performance.
Seats
The majority of triple buggies start life as single pushchairs, although some can convert to take a second seat or carrycot with adapters (these are typically more common in tandem buggies). Some models allow you to add an additional board for older children who are able to walk, but still require assistance.

The iCandy Orange double buggies are one of the most popular on the market. This is due to their superb comfort. It's an all-terrain model with soft suspension that can easily handle bumpy surfaces. It can be used in 30 seating configurations, and comes with a built-in ride-on board for older kids who prefer walking and a 'cinema seating' mode that raises the back of the seat to allow for better visibility.
Alternatively, the phil&teds dot is a great single buggy from day 1 that is able to easily be adapted to take 2 (or 3!) Different configurations are possible. This is especially helpful if you have a baby in a car. The frame can be adapted to a wedgie, which allows for the best lie-flat position. Or car seat adapters that can be used with a wide range of brands.
Suspension
The quality of the suspension on a triple buggy is essential to how it will be easy for you and your baby/s to push. It is important to enjoy a smooth ride as babies can feel every bump in the road. This is particularly relevant if you drive on rough terrain such as grass or roads that aren't paved. Some models have front tires that lock to help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.
Some models use air-filled tyres, which provide a fantastic all-terrain adventure, but they could be prone to punctures therefore, make sure you have spares in the trunk. Certain models come with gel-filled or foam-filled tyres that are designed to cushion bumps. 3 wheel buggy can be less likely to puncture, but they might be uncomfortable for your child should you decide to run.

Folding
A three-wheeled double buggy can be folded up easily for storage.
